Hey! If you enjoy reading my blog, you’ve got a unique opportunity right now!
I’ve been blogging for you for a couple of months now, and it’s time to review the progress - let you decide what you want more of, and what you want less of.
You’ve seen me post silly and serious, profound and light-hearted, long and short. I’m pretty sure you like some of my posts better. Maybe you prefer reading short to-the-point posts that give you a quick explanation and ways to put it into practice. Or maybe you prefer longer posts where I dissect the topic from all sides, support it with a couple of stories, give you the bad points as well as the good, and then let you take action if you choose to. Or maybe you would like some “Top 10″ lists :p
Also, I’m pretty sure you prefer some topics to others. Maybe you’d like to know more about education and learning. Or hear more about my personal experiences. Or you would like to read more about blogging. Or maybe you’re a geek like me and would like to hear more about computers as well as personal growth.
It’s also pretty likely I missed out some topics you’d really like to know about, simply because they seem so obvious to me. Maybe I just naturally learned some skill at a young age, and don’t even consider it important to tell others, while you might be struggling with it.
In any case, now is your chance to let me know! Any thoughts on what you’d like to see on my blog in the future? Leave a comment or send me an email at vlad@anamazingmind.com
Oh yeah, I’ll be back with something good on Saturday. Just wait up.
I’d like to see more personal experience type wisdom. Also you should check out my blog and tell me what you think. I am totally open to scrutiny!
I would like to see a more dissection type of posts that really dissect the topic from all sides and give you a very well understanding of what’s up!!!
I like all of your posts, all of them really!! and yes, as Miranda said, I would also like personal experiences!
keep up the great work, you have benefited many people like me!
I’m enjoying the variety. I wouldn’t want to see all long or all short posts or all of one type of post.
I find your style very readable and I always read your posts even when I don’t comment. I like it when you add personal experience because sometimes I know a lot about the subject itself - but I’ve never heard your experience before.
The two posts that come immediately to mind are the one about lucid dreaming which told me nothing I hadn’t read before but which I still enjoyed and the one about procrastination which had some ideas that I really hadn’t thought of. I liked both.
Stuff about computers is good too!
Anyway, as far as I’m concerned more of the same would be very good but if you want to develop your content then I’m sure I’ll enjoy that too.
I subscribed to your RSS after your article on Linux.
I also like reading personal experiences. Even seemingly mundane experiences, when looked at in an interesting way, can be quite revealing.
Keep up the good work :).
I’m sending you an email with a thought.
thnx for this post , it reflection your interest in knowing your reader opinion in your articles .
i prefer your articles in short , and it’s goal is to clarifies the meaning of it in simple words .
in all your blog is awesome , and keep going .
I’ve recently been reading a book called “No More Mr. Nice Guy” - Robert A. Glover.
Much of the book is about “Nice guys” and how this niceness, or always trying to do what’s right stems from childhood issues of abandonment.
Now I was totally unaware of the depth of my Nice Guy problem, or the impact it was having on my life, until I read this and it made me think. Are there other personality dysfunctions that people have but are oblivious to?
Perhaps you could do a series on dysfunctions that people may be unaware of.
Your blog is phenomenal. It inspired me to try basically everything new, such as Linux Ubuntu.
Out of all of your posts, education and Uberman’s sleep schedule were the best. I read a book about the first one since reading it, and would seriously consider polyphasic sleep when my schedule loosens up.
So, random wisdom and crazy (but revolutionary) ideas are my favorites.
Keep going! I’ll keep reading!
I agree completely with fairyhedgehog - I love the variety of content and presentation styles in your posts. My preference is for posts that involve psychological analysis, and the “random wisdom and crazy (but revolutionary) ideas” mentioned by Brian. Polyphasic sleeping - far out! I’m going to Uni next year, and I am so keen to try to fit it in around whatever my lecture schedule is. I could work a good job, and go to uni at the same time! No loan!!
Thank you so much for this blog, I really do love it. The way you write is extraordinarily easy to read, and yet the concepts you put forward in that writing are not watered down. In fact, they are pearls of wisdom that someone in their formative years (like me) can really appreciate and use to mold their person for the better.
Thanks once again, and just keep doing it like you do
I like the variety too. But do you have any insights on how to talk people out of racism? I’ve been trying logic, but of course racism is inherently illogical, so I’m not getting very far.
